Wilderness Wednesday

We couldn't get outside for Wilderness Wednesday, so we brought the WILD to the GYM!  Campers played "Over the River and Through the Woods"  This game involved one partner wearing a blindfold while the other guided them through a series of nature trail obstacles.  They had to walk over a bridge, avoid the campfire, jump over the river, crawl through the cave, and zig zag through trees! Children laughed and learned as they bumped into objects and listened to their partners. We also played a game of "Rushing Rapids", 2 of the oldest campers were paired with each groups of younger campers, and  used sheets as rafts to get the younger campers across the "river" to the other side, then we got silly and had the little ones pull the big ones! All campers laughed and had a great time today! Check out the pictures below:
